Prof. Dr. Thomas Schöftner
Thomas Schöftner is a lecturer, professor (in the field of initial, further and continuing education) and research associate at the Private University of Education of the Diocese of Linz.
He researches and teaches in the field of educational sciences especially in the areas of media pedagogy, media education and media didactics with a focus on competence acquisition. In addition to his research and teaching activities, he has been involved for several years in projects dealing with the digitalisation of teaching and the promotion of digital competences.Thomas is also an international reviewer for academic journals and conferences, e.g. GeNeMe, ÖFEB (Austrian Association of Research and Development in Education) or Frontiers.
